There are numerous golf courses to choose from in the locality. A gem of a nine hole parkland golf course in Doneraile, established in 1927 only 5 kms. Mallow golf club is set in the heart of the Blackwater Valley, Mallow’s undulating treelined fairways transport the golfer from tee to green and provide an enjoyable testing round of golf and is 19kms from us. Mitchelstown golf course is an 18 Hole Parkland Golf Course in the shadow of the Galtee Mountains. Suitable for golfers of all levels and is 17kms from us. Fermoy golf course is situated on the sunny south facing slopes of Corrin Hill and set in a glorious profusion of natural heather and gorse, it offers a varied and interesting challenge to experienced and occasional golfers alike. It is 20kms drive from us.

Mitchelstown

In the rich and fertile land of North Cork in the shadow of the Galtee Mountains you will find Mitchelstown Golf Club. Founded in 1910 the course has matured into one of Munster’s finest parkland courses. Built on top quality land the course remains playable all year round. Nominated by Kevin Markham (well known Irish golf writer, photographer and author of “Hooked”) as one of the top ten Irish golf courses for €20 or less. Website

Doneraile

Established in 1927, Doneraile Golf Club is a 9 hole parkland course located in Doneraile, Co.Cork. Set in the fertile pastures of north Cork, Doneraile Golf Club boasts beautiful  scenery and challenging golf and is regarded as one of the most stunning 9 hole parkland courses in Ireland. Established in 1892, this wooded course represents a challenging test for both the expert and the novice golfer. The newly refurbished clubhouse and restaurant overlook the rolling course and countryside. Corrin Hill is a focal point for the area with its commanding stone cross at its summit. Website
