In 2006, my son built this house but has since moved to Dublin for work and love. My daughter took it over in 2018 and decided to offer it as a boutique self-catering house. Ballyhourode house has private parking and free Wi-Fi throughout and with homemade baking on arrival. This boutique accommodation includes a cinema room with vintage cinema seats, a classic arcade machine and a popcorn machine. Ballyhourode House is set on 3 acres of land in the Blackwater Valley with beautiful, idyllic panoramic countryside views as it’s nestled between the Ballyhoura and Nagle mountains which is in the heart of North County Cork. It offers panoramic views of the mountains which can be admired from a 180° picture window on the 1st floor. Ballyhourode House offers 3 bright and classic décor private bedrooms with parquet floors upstairs with 3 en suite bathrooms with powerful showers. The Master bedroom suite offers its own flat screen 49" TV with satellite channels and streaming capabilities and air spa bath. Downstairs there is 1 bright classic décor private bedroom with both parquet floors and an en-suite bathroom with electric shower and bath. All rooms are provided with bed linen, electric blankets, fluffy cotton towels, free toiletries and hairdryers. This boutique accommodation includes a comfortable sitting room with an open fire, equipped with a flat-screen 50" TV with free to air channels. There is also a selection of DVDs and board games for use. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area complete with a gas hob and electric oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle, a washing machine and a dryer. There is an outdoor patio area, with a rattan garden furniture set to compliment the gas BBQ for relaxing evenings in countryside surroundings
