The Hunters Rest a Family run Traditional Irish Pub is conveniently located on the Main Street in Mitchelstown, a Georgian style town scenically located between the Blackwater Valley & the foothills of the Galtee Mountain Range. A household name amongst the domestic population of Mitchelstown and its surrounding areas, the establishment has been licensed for 3 generations of the O Connor/Mullally family. Over many years it has built up a reputation for its good wholesome traditional food cooked with a modern day flare. A full Breakfast Menu is available from 9.30am – 2.30pm. Lunch is available from 12.00 to 4.30pm daily and the a la carte menu is served all day until 10pm enhanced by Evening Specials which commence at 5.00 pm. Lighter Snacks & Sandwiches are available anytime throughout the day. The Hunters Rest places great value in sourcing its ingredients from local suppliers whom they believe place a great emphasis in supplying the freshest of produce from 100% Irish Beef & Lamb, to fish landed and delivered daily complemented with the freshest of seasonal vegetables.
